Hi !
My name is Marc and I am living in Hamburg in Germany.
I am a big metalhead since twenty years and listen to Metal music in all styles is my purpose f life.
I have seen the movie "Global Metal" and also the Iron Maiden Movie with their concerts in India.
Due to the fact that my girlfriend is studying Indology and Ethnology we will visit India in march next year.
Now I am trying to learn more about Metal in India and I thought it would be the best way to get in contact with metalheads who are on location.
Mainly we will stay in Dehli but also we will travel around to see them more of your country.
Perhaps some of you can give me some hints or advices where Metal Music can be found in India.
For now this should be enough about me and I hopefully I get some replies.
If you got any questions do not hesitate to get in contact with me. |

Hey man,
That sounds great! There are some awesome metal bands in India. The scene in New Delhi is pretty cool but it will do you a world of good to check out Mumbai and Bangalore as well. You can also check out Indian bands before coming here so you'll know how the music sounds before you watch them live. \m/ |

First of all, welcome to Headbangers India.
About the bands here, I would agree with symphony21. I'm not sure if there is much of metal going on at Delhi at the moment, but the places where the scene is comparatively better would be Mumbai and Bangalore. |

Hello Marc,
I'm currently based in Singapore but am originally from New Delhi. True, the scene is stronger in Mumbai and Bangalore, but New Delhi has bands like Acrid Semblance, Undying Inc, Narsil, IIIrd Sovereign, 1833 AD etc. You should definitely check them out. And for a humongous list of Indian metal bands, check this Facebook group's Info section out:

May the Force be with you |

Thanx for the nice words !
My trip to India will be soon and I will check out what I can find in Delhi.
This holiday we got no time to get to Mumbai or Bangalore but maybe I will return and then I will listen to your advices.
By the way : I am writing for an online Metal Magazine, sadly only in german.
But we receive a lot of links with interviews, videos or LEGAL music download for free.
Are some of you interessted ?
And if yes, where can I put those links in this forum ? |

"The" Delhi band to watch out for is definitely IIIrd Sovereign, other than that I heard Undying INC's EP, it was pretty cool. And yes external links would surely interest me....be it german or english...as long as its about metal |
