This comes as an outrage to some bands having religious inclinations.
Is it not enough that this country is torn and tormented with the constant blood loss caused by Religious extremist playing God. Please leave religion and God away from the music scene, whatever your beliefs are, no body comes to a concert for religion, leave alone the fact that most religions or religious leaders (Holy men/women so to say) don’t even approve of Metal. Please if you guys want to play Music with a certain inclination, fine, so be it……. But please, refrain your Holy selves from starting an already deep rooted problem in this country in the Music scene.
My plea….
Don’t preach on Stage and Don’t stage when you preach.. |

I have always found it quite disgusting. Religious content in any form of rock n\' roll and metal is fucked up. If you ask me I feel that it kinda spoils the entire reason why this whole rock n\' roll revolution came about. Rock and metal were never about confirming to society, it always had its own ideals and believed in sticking it to the man, has always considered the neck tie as a noose and stood up for free thought away from organized religion and social norms. |

well said both of u!.... but I would suggest, if the preachers want to preach, let them organize shows for themselves with only preachy preachy stuff in it... & call their own people... so that its easier & it\'ll be worth preaching also!... |

yeah but still it kind of is a put off...however if the are good musician\'s then regardless of all the religious crap I think people should be mature enough to appreciate the religious bands as accomplished musicians |

which band are you ppl talkin about???
and yeah...a religious direction to the band is a big NO NO. political stuff and the world scenario n all is acceptable. and as Jack Black and Basu said \"is stickin up to the man\", tats wat rock n roll/metal should be all about. |

gauravbasublr i totally agre with you, regardless of content we shud and i personally do appreciate the music and the musicians...but its an issue for me when the preaching happens...I enjoy music for music without any bias...
well not really talkin about any band in particular or inclined to one part of society..but at all bands doing more than just what they shud be |

what ever said and done, whether or not they exist here or not, it will always be a put off...I am all up for content mocking and attacking religious beliefs though, firstly because religion is a pile of crap and secondly because belting religion is a fuck load of fun  lol |

Yeah man influenced doesn\'t mean preaching. Rudra sings about the Vedas, the same way Nile sings about Egyptian mythology and Kartikeya sings about Indian gods and war.
The bands that really preach are the gospel bands. Loads of them around. Many christian metal bands. As I Lay Dying for instance. Even Living Sacrifice, Demon Hunter among others but I don\'t know if they preach.. |

if you look around carefully we have a few...i have nothing against their beleifs...but why use music to preach. But then again ...music is such medium that anyone can promote anything thru it..
My only concern is that bands shud not be taking relegious pokes at each other..you know how it will be, one inclination against the other... and then we\'ll have war, As a country india is already plagued with enough and more relegious problems, and as metal heads we have very few, and far in between stages to play/watch metal. and relegion shud not be a part of it. |
